Illustrated a cover for the Cleveland Scene. This was a particularly challenging story to conceptualize, as the story is quite wonky. When cops screw up (bad police shooting, wrongful arrest/conviction, etc.), the City of Cleveland is supposed to payout to the victims of the misconduct. However, the City of Cleveland was paying for the officers involved to file for bankruptcy. Through some weird legal loophole, this allows the city to evade their obligations to pay up the millions of dollars they should be paying. The protects the City's money while the victims of misconduct are left with nothing.
